I just got word from a woman here in Denmark hwo has an Oscar for sale, that I can bye it if I want to, and I do!!!

I have 3 Oscars ranging from 18 cm to 24 cm and I have been looking for a mate or friend for them for some time now. One of my Oscars seems alone and that makes me sad.
Since they are som big, I could not bye a little baby at 4-5 cm (I think they would eat it og pick it to death ) So a "grown up" Oscar was what I was looking for.
And now I found it, about 15 cm long and just like my beautyfull oscars:woohoo:
I can´t hardly wait to go and get it, but I have to wait until next friday, because she lives 150 km away:blink:

But I´m so happy happy happy:woohoo:

Look what a beauty, the picture could have been better...

so you have the oscar bug. thats the problem with fish keeping you cant stop and i am the same. I want more(have 4 full grown) be warned they dont always get on and you may end up having to rehome or another tank. Do you have room for more they grow fast, very best of luck, hope all go well.

I have to agree, look out for aggression when you first put it in, they will not necessarily start getting long straightaway

nice-looking tiger nevertheless

are you sure you have enough room and fitration in your tank to house another oscar. if i remember correctly you have a 100 gallon tank with 3 oscars and a big catfish already. i would think about a bigger tank first then maybe another oscar but thats just my opinion.

btw that is a really nice tiger
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

Oh yeah I have enougt filtration, my powerhead processes 1600 l/h and I have 4 of them, right now I only use 3 but I have 1 more just in case. I got at a good price (I bought them because my O´s like the Spa-effect they have )
And I clean my tank once a week, and I vacums every time I clean.
My water is so clean and smeels nice like a wet forest.

So I think I´ll be fine and I hope my tiger will be fine to.

Ohhh it takes a looong time before it´s friday....

Tanks for the concern.

I´m Hysterical about clear water. A wile ago we bought a used tank from a man hwo had lots of BIG catfish, even some ekspencive ones. His tanks was green with algee and braun with feaces, I think it tog me a hole day to clean that tank, scrubbing and scrubbing. That gave me even more pride in my nice clean tanks. I don´t understand bying ekspencive fish and putting them in a soup like that, and how can some do it to the fish?....
