theres a DVD. OFL knows more about this as he has it I believe. I would honestly say this site has more than any book can give.

The two books you have mentioned are the most common, the two guys obviously are very experienced and they are very good books. Keeping Oscars is a little bit of a niche market, I don't think you're going to make a fortune out of writing a book just about Oscars, that's why there aren't that many books out there.

I don't think you will see many more new books appearing, not when there's so much information available on the Internet now.

The DVD was made by one of our members quite a long time ago. For an amateur, I think he made quite a good job of it.

you hit it in the head. some books are based on theory
and imagination. OSCARFISHLOVER.COM is based on actual
experience, experimentation, and exchange of ideas, actualized,
applied, and tested all over the world, irregardless of location,
culture, and environmental condition. i myself had got one copy.

oscarfishlover is a great site and there's probably more facts here than anywhere else.
call me old fashion but i still like to read a book. the internet is perfect for gathering info, chatting and looking for pics but you get a different feeling when you open a book.

I couldn't agree more. I am forever buying computer books. If I'm deciding on a new product, I go on to Amazon and find a book all about it and get it. I mainly use the Internet for video tutorials

This is a very good site and hats off to OFL for such an informative place for Oscar lovers. But I too like to read books as well. As has already been stated, there isn't many books dedicated to Oscars which is rather strange as O's are probably the second most popular Cichlid in the hobby. I have only got one and it is just called Oscars by Neal Pronek, its a TFH publication from 1993.
180 UK gallon - Central American Cichlids
75 UK gallon - South American Cichlids
30 UK gallon - South American community
25 UK gallon - Hospital/ Quarantine Tank.

I'm in the U.S., but there is "Aquarium Care of Oscars'" by Neal Pronek and Brian Scott.
