is it the new comer?

if that is so, that is the real danger of introducing
new comer which is smaller. teritorial supremacy sometimes
cause havoc... new comer being treated as intruder, and
will be driven away.

sorry to hear about your albino. sometimes this happens when introducing new fish to an existing tank. if you do try again i would suggest growing the new one out a bit before introducing it to the larger fish.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

my goal is simple a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all

The funny thing is the big oscar was protecting the little oscar. the big oscar would rap its body around the little one so the cichlids would leave it alone. i will try again after i get the bigger tank.i am looking for a 100 gal to move the oscar into..
