we recently had a storm and our electricty was turned off, after the storm our red oscar turned half black on one side and the other side is normal. he is acting normal, we are just wondering if hes ok or needs some attention

Can you please post a photograph? When you say black, is it a very deep black?

perhaps your o's experience stress in the duration
of power failure. however, since she/he is okey now,
just keep an eye on your water, make sure it is under
check all the time
