just wondering. my 3 month old oscars have been displaying normal adolescent behavior and in the aftermath i have notice that the tigers mouth is slightly crooked. it hasn't really affected anything else with him especcially his feeding habits. just wondering is this something that will heal or will this affect him forever.

there are some instances that oscar have some
deformities. it is genetic, nobody could tell
why or how it happen. i have seen one that the
mouth could not close properly, grows slowly,
but still very active and healthy. as long as it
is happy and active, you don't have to worry.
other hobbyist are very happy to have those
unique features of their oscar.

thanks for the help. he is fine this morning mouth still crooked but he's fine. he's actually growing faster than his counterpart probably because he eats any and everything. like you said this just adds a little more character to his look.

if you will notice, my oscar looks like fish
soaked in a bucket of white paint. my wife always
wanted to have a colorful fish in my tank. it so
happen all my fishes except for the angel fish have
mono color. black & white for pangasius, greyish
white for my oscar. i love them for being unique.
