Is it possible that one part of the Oscar can heal while another may get worse? Or if there shows signs of healing, is it possible that the Oscar will heal in other areas as well. I been doing water changes every 3 days and feeding healthy food. It looks like other parts are sort of healing while other parts show better signs of healing. Does it take 3-4 months to show better signs of healing?
Any thoughts?

fully curing hith can take a very long time. just keep the nitrates in the tank below 20 and be patient.
some spots might not be as bad as other and might show signs of healing sooner.

a week after you start medication will show some progress in healing. as i have said, deep damage will take time to fully recover. in 30 days, all wound must be cured but damage will take sometimes to patch up. some damage will remain in the body as scars but it does't mean your oscar did not healed.
