hi i have a Q for u
i have got 2 albeno oscars there still babys there around 5-6 mths old i've notice in past 2 days they haven't really been them selfs and not eating like they have been they didn't look to good today in the tank they are living in at the mo i done there water change today and they really didn't look good so i halfed off my other tank and moved them in there they seem to have lived up a bit more but they are both shaking .
at the weekend they getting moved to there new 5ft by 2 ft by 1, 1/2 ft tank .
but my Q is
is there anything wrong with them as they are shaking ?

When you say shaking, do you mean twitching occasionally, all shaking all the time?

the tank there in at the mo yes it is .. there new tank is being cycled at the mo .
and there twitching occasionally . one of them does it then the other after . they both stoped eating today and have been off and on with there food for 3 days now .

and i have also just notice there jawlocking and pushing each other in the side of there bodys .

Oscars do twitch occasionally, all mine have done it and other people have mentioned it as well so there is nothing for you to worry about. It is probably something to do with their nervous system

It is extremely common for Oscars to go off their food, in fact my two Oscars are going through a funny stage just at the moment. Fish can go without food for quite a few weeks so don't worry. As for the other behaviour you mentioned, this is also quite normal. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, you shouldn't have any problems.
