As i mentioned before my oscars had begun to fight and i had them seperated by a plastic divider. After a few attempts of removing the divider hoping they would sort if out it was clear that these guys would not stop fighting till one of them was dead. As much is was regretfull i had to rehome one of my little friends, he went to a good home so at least that made me happy. The guy im am left with is having the time of his life tearing around his tank now, i guess its kinda a victory dance! Origanly i was going to get rid of both my oscars and start again with another 2 but i think i will just stick with one for now!

Unfortunately, I think you had a pair that just didn't like each other for some reason, who knows how fish think? Anyway, you did the right thing

If the one you have has become more active i would say you done the right thing.

Yep i know i did the right thing, it had to be done. I kept the one that won all the fights, i think he has a more personality, he lets me pat him sometimes and trys to bite me when i feed him, swims around the tank like a crazy man, he also had a wierd friendship with my feathertail catfish. Sometimew he lets the catfish tickel him on the belly with his whiskers and other times the lay on top of each other in the corner of the tank. Other times the oscar will nip the catfih if he is in the way....fun stuff.
