Well i have gotten them on 2/7/09 and it's just close to being 3 weeks that i will own them this saturday the 28th...when i got them they where about 1.75" or so now they are like almost 3 inches! they are all doing fine.... But i have one tiger that is now chasing the others some times and biting at them being a bully.....it's funny because he is the only one that does this all the rest seam to get along just fine? ..Is something wrong here? Is he a bad one should i give him to a pet store....Or is it normal for one to be like this with all the others?

THANKS

in every group, there is always one to become notorious.
just keep an eye on him and do what you may think is appropriate
when necessary. but 8 oscar in 125 gal is over stock. you will be
prone to water problem sooner plus issue on territorial dominance.
just my 2 cents ideas.

I think your problems are just starting out. as the fish grow more and more will try to dominate the are they have, this isnt a lot in a 125g so fighting will breakout and increase. I think Paul has covered the water issues so I wont bother.

As the last 2 mods said, 125 is not big enough for 8 oscars, let alone 4.
and even if you got rid of the bully and left 7, 1 of them 7 will do the same thing.
you will always have a leader in the tank when it comes to oscars.
also, how often are you doing water changes? and what % are you taking out?
and what filter/s are you using? i hope its a strong one because as you may already know, oscars are really messy fish.

like paul and marcus have stated you are just begining to have issues in your tank. domimance and water issues are going to increase as your fish grow.

imoh your tank is big enough for 2 oscars and a mid sized tank mate. if you want to keep all your oscars you will need to pick up other tanks to house them in or just one really big tank for them all(and by big i mean in the 400+ gallon range).

just my opinion

if you intend to just keep a pair of O,s from the group you should be ok but you need to choose fast as you have no whare near enough capacity to wait untill they reach maturity and pair off

How would one be able to chose a pair if you can't tell male or female.... maybe i should just start parting with the ones i don't like so much as they grow older and eventually stick with two?

You have to wait till they are sexually mature. To do it with 8 oscars will require a VERY big tank
