I have got 2 oscars a tiger and a albino, the problem is the tiger oscar eats most of the food and is growing much faster than the other. I don't want to seperate them because they have paired off, also they both always look hungry and i no i feed them enough. But the tiger jumps out of the water when i open the lid to the tank. It seems like he is starving but i feed them plenty. I have just got a mess here:S

I think you are worried over nothing, mine can sometimes look like one isn't eating its fair share. This can be because it just doesn't need more food, spreading food over a wider area may help but as long as both are eating your oscars should be fine. you will always get a dominate fish if you have a pair. you could just have a case of this as for growing at different rates, this isn't anything to worry about too and is normal. watch to make sure they both eat just to make sure. the other thing that may be worth trying is worms. this should get them both competing for the food.

Try feeding them minimum size kril or shrimp. You can buy frozen at most fish stores. Sometimes it comes in little blocks like bloodworm, other times if it's larger it is in one block. Just break off and defrost it and when you put it in the tank, it disperses, all the fish get their fair share then.

He has had up to 30 tanks at one time of every kind of fish and he can't explain some of the things my fish are doin.

not all oscars do take their food at the same rate.
there are time my grey belly take more than what black
stripe do. eventually, they have these size difference.
grey belly is about 15 inches long while black stripe is
about 14 inches only.

as long as both are taking their foods, you need not worry.
