Welcome to the site

There is loads of information for you on the website regarding feeding.

I would forget live fish, don't let him get into the habit of eating them. Guppies probably hold hardly any nutrition whatsoever. Bloodworm is okay for small Oscars, they will still eat it when they're older but it's not much of a meal. Good quality pellets are what you should be feeding. Hikari & Tetra make a huge variety of pellets, many of them are designed especially for cichlid's. Do a search for Hikari and you'll find what you're looking for.

If you go to your fish store, they'll probably sell lots of frozen food as well. I would recommend shrimps and krill, Oscars loved them and they contain lots of goodness.

Get Hikari floating cichlid pellets. They are great for oscars. Also, try not to feed your new oscar minnows too often. They arnt the best thing for oscars. Only feed them as a treat every now and then.
Hope this helps.

Shrimp is shrimp, it will be fit for human consumption. What you probably find some times is shrimp that is too small to be sold in the supermarkets so it's packaged up for fish. Alternatively there are lots of companies who catch live fish/krill/shrimp and sell it for fish bait and fish food

you'll find as your oscar grows brine shrimp will become to small to feed him. at that point i switched to shrimp rings and feed them that as treats.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!
