You're going to have to take a much closer photograph of the fish because I can't see a thing

Very strange, I've never seen anything like that before. Are these marks raised at all, or are they just marks on the skin? I will have a look through my health books tomorrow and post any findings.
In the meantime, you need to carry out a water test and let us know what the results are, ammonia, nitrite, nitrates and pH.

Your water seems to be okay. Got to be honest, I haven't really got an answer for you at the moment. I will have a look through my health book and get back to you one way or another

i have seen an oscar with the same pattern of markings.
since it is in both sides, i believe it is natural. your
o looks fine and healthy, thus, no need to worry. considered
it as color character.

do you have heater in your tank?
there are some incident that oscar who stays longer
adjacent to the heater have some unusual marking along
the line of the heater. this might be your case.
just another opinion.
