How big are the geckos? I suspect an Oscar may not eat the whole thing unless it's a very big fish, you certainly don't want half eaten geckos left in your tank. Whereas live food can be beneficial to an Oscar's diet, things like crickets, mealworms, earthworms etc, I'm not sure that reptiles are really the best food to keep your Oscar. I don't think now be able to manage to chew up all the bones and digest them properly unless it is a tiny little lizard.

You be better off leaving the geckos to do what they are good at, keeping your house clear flies and other nasty little critters.

Well that's the first i've ever heard of anyone attempting to feed there Oscars small reptiles:S Apart from having Oscars i also have 3 Geckos but there Tokay Geckos and there about 14inches long so i wouldn't dream of attempting to feed my Oscars those:laugh: In saying that 'Tokays' are so aggressive i'd say they would give my Oscars a run for there money any time!. I don't know why but i feel quite sad your even contemplating feeding them to the fish but i guess because i keep reptiles too i'm slightly against it. No disrespect though to you of course. Well as OFL has said if there small enough and your Oscar seems to take them well enough then why not...But i'd say treat them as a treat on a few odd occasions only though.

To be quite honest, I'm not in favour of putting these sorts of animals through such a stressful ordeal and probably a slow painful death.

i concur with OFL on that unless it is just a
1 inch gekko wherein a 12 inches oscar can take
the whole body in one gulp.
