Oshie is now 10 inch, and I'm still not sure what sex s/he is?? I'll keep looking but is there a certain size or age they start to show more?

Its hard to fly like an eagle when you are surrounded by turkeys

If you only have one Oscar, I think you are going to find it very difficult to tell the sex. A female Oscar on her home could possibly lay eggs. I don't think it is very common for them to do this though. If it's a male, they would be no reason for him to get his tackle out so to speak so you won't see his sexual organ. So all in all, unless you vent the fish, it's going to be a guessing game.
