welcome to the site

I have moved your post to a more appropriate category.

Okay, you haven't really given us much to go on. The first thing I would suggest you do is test the water for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH. Obviously if fish start behaving differently to what you are used to, that is the first thing you must do because in many cases, it is poor water conditions that affect a fish's health.

It would also be handy to know what size tank and filtration you are using

it's very hard to give you a proper answer but what do you mean by "laying down". mine does that sometimes(not on the side) but it almost seems like that they are resting. but as long your oscar eat, it's a good sign.

I have noticed Sharon laying down before having a rest. But lately this is all she does all day and night.. She seems fine, maybe a little slower but no sores or spots..
She comes up to the top of the tank for me only so i can feed her.
Her tummy looks a little swollen though and she is changing her colours from dark to light a bit..
She is in a 4foot tank with a large canister filter and various air stones and plants.
I will be testing the water in her tank today..
