Is there anyone who has seen this. He is 10" Tgr O, and the water conditions are not showing any build up of the bad Amo and Nitrates. what I am noticing is that he is changing color. His head and top of his body used to be a cream color with cream in between his black stripes. Now the top of his head and top of his back are turning OLIVE GREEN. I have noticed that his past HITH spots are disappearing. (these were from his past owner, 40gal no filtration tank) I was feeding him live goldfish along with his Cichild sticks to get him healthy, now it's sticks and a skinny minnow for a treat. Thanks

I would say he was sick and is now getting better. They look pale when sick and various other reasons and if he/she had HITH it wasn't a well fish. at the moment it looks fine colour wise. What size tank is he in now? well done for curing the HITH. its not easy. how long have you owned him?

Jan 24th, 55gal, I immediately treated him or her with a parasite med, 1 wk later I had to treat for popeye. He began to eat much better, well and he could see out of his new tank.
I use a HOB dbl BIO filter plus I use a canister that moves 320 gal an hr. The reason I think he's a Big Boy is because when I sit in the wing chair next to the tank..he sits by me.But when my husband sits there he moves to the other side of the tank.")

O, I just talked to the original owner, she said he was 1 1/2" 8 yrs ago. She came for a visit and was happy to see him healthy.
