i dont think i would feed bacon to my oscar just from the grease couldn't be good for em

what if it was grilled? to lose the fat, and also cut the fat off?
or even boiled bacon (gammon)
only asking because i can get good bacon very cheap so wondered if it was worth getting some for them.

There would still be quit a bit of fat. Maybe if you can trim visible fat off, that might help. However, i still wouldnt do it.

No, even if you did find a way to lose the fat, bacon doesn't really have much nutrients or vitamins essential to the oscars health.

Fish can develop fatty liver disease if they eat too much saturated fat. That's why a lot of carp fisheries ban the use of trout pellets that are very high in fat.
