can oscars eat bacon?

bacon has fat in it.

i dont think i would feed bacon to my oscar just from the grease couldn't be good for em

Oscars can't digest fatty foods like that, hurts their intestines...

what if it was grilled? to lose the fat, and also cut the fat off?
or even boiled bacon (gammon)
only asking because i can get good bacon very cheap so wondered if it was worth getting some for them.

There would still be quit a bit of fat. Maybe if you can trim visible fat off, that might help. However, i still wouldnt do it.
