Hello again Fish people!! I just wanted to let everyone know.... since my beloved Ernest passed away a week ago I have been struggling whether or not to get another Oscar. Well I DID!! I got two little itty bitty ones (compared to Ernest he was 121/2 inches long)These little guys are about an 1/2 inch. and I love them already. Any advice or special care for my little tykes Nemo and Neon? I was scared because they are so small that my two large Plecos would eat them, they are a 15 inches long but they get along very well. The little ones hang out with them.

The best advice I can give you is to keep your water in good condition, feed them three times a day so they get enough food. They will be extremely hungry all the time in the first few weeks/months.

Thank you I was wondering if I was feeding them too much They seem hungry all the time. The little Nemo lets me pet him like I did Ernest, I am in love!!!!

I know that a lot of people like petting their fish, however, it is not something I would actually advocate. You've got to be aware that a fishes skin is covered by a protective membrane. It is very important that this membrane is not damaged at all, if it is, then diseases can penetrate the fishes skin which could put its health at risk. So if you are going to touch the fish, do it very gently, and don't do it too much. I would also make sure that your hands are very clean before putting them in the tank water

i have nothing to say except congratulation.
babies are nice to care too. they always
wiggle their tails and approach the glass
whenever they see you.... as OFL said...
keep the water in tip top condition, you
will be surprised, they will grow fast.
