I've treated Fish Lice the hard way before. The procedure involved taking the fish out of the water, holding it down on my kitchen cutting board and individually removing the damn things. (That really sucks by the way) After that I purchased Kordon's Trifon (trichlorfon) which is the only thing I've read online that can actually eradicate the little pests. I've never used it though. I don't like the idea of adding a nerve agent into my aquarium. Plus you've got to monitor the heck out of it. Have any of you ever used organophosphates in your aquariums? Better yet, have any of you successfully beaten fish lice any other way?
Keeping fish is only as hard as you choose to make it.

Thankfully, I've never had fish lice before, in fact I've been extremely lucky to have not had many diseases in the years I have been keeping fish.
