It depends. Most stuff with astaxanthin does, the other crap doesn't.

Not sure if it would effect you....

There's only one way to find out...........

I actually think these foods are complete waste of time. I reckon if you ate enough carrots, you would probably turn orange, however, I want something else in my diet, the same goes for fish, you shouldn't be feeding your fish on one food all the time anyway, a varied diet is what we recommend. Don't bother spending the extra money on these type of so-called color enhancement foods, concentrate more on giving your fish a healthy varied diet.

ofl is right.
if you feed a varied healthy diet to your oscar you wont need any colour enhancing additive because your oscar will get all it needs from its food.

well, i switch up what they eat, i keep it varied, hakari cichlid gold large pellets, wardleys cichlid floating pellets - medium, wardley cichlid flakes, and tetracichlid jumbo sticks, as well as the infamous goldfish/rosy red minnow by the dozen. occasionally i feed them shrimp. and they do love shrimp lol.

Mine eat all kinds of things, Mainly large pellets, but for treats they eat and love, bananas, shrimp, apples, pinnaple, worms, flies, crickets, and grass hoppers.
Good luck and I would like to know how the color enhansers effect you! Good luck with that!!!

Never feed your oscar goldfish. If you ask, i'll give you a hundred reasons why.

Also, the 'chemical' (astaxanthin) that i mention earlier is what give oscars good colors. but you don't need to spend extra money on food that has it because shrimp, prawn and other crustaceans have tons of it in them, practically more that those fish foods. they will give you the brightest colors you can get.
