Hello, introducing you to my new tank :silly:


Startup: 20DEZ12 :D

Tank: 180x60x65 (alt.) = 702lts (185Gal). 12mm glass with french bars.

Stand: 180x60x90

Lihts: 2 x Led Odysseia - Size: 87,7 X 12,5 X 2,3 cm - 120 White Leds + 9 Blue Leds - 12W each.

Filter: SUMP 53x51x45 with Aquabee pump 3.000lts/h

Heaters: 2x 250w Jagger

Hardscape: 75kg white sand, large wood, 3 rocks.

Fish: In the beginning this tank was mad or my tiger Oscar "Astro" and I was thinking in some other American cichlids as well... later changes my mind...

4 more weeks and it will have some of the fish ;)

UPDATE: 8FEBRUARY2013

Well it took more than 4 weeks...

Some changes made to the setup, starting with the Fish. Got 4 Heros sp. Inirida and 3 Hoplosternun Thoracatum.

Also changed the pump... its still Aquabee but now the 3.000 model and added 3 lts of Sera Siporax and 2lts of Seachem Matrix.

UPDATE: 25MAY2013

Removed the Thoracata and added 3 wild Discus (had already some time ago added 6 Biotodoma Cupid and 12 Hyphessobrycon Columbianus.

I would move the piece of wood against the back wall so the oscar could have more swimming space but besides that its absoultely beautiful

Tank looks great very stream line!

will be nice to see it running and I don't think you can go wrong with any of those sevs you almost have every kind listed lol!!

If I leave the wood against the back they wont have the chance to run around and across it... that´s why its in the middle but a bit more to the back.

Thanks! The sev I think I'll go for the most natural one, inspite the colours of the others are always a temptation...

Yes the tank and stand are great, they just had to be or the wife would not aprove :P The sump will only start working tomorrow... hat to wait a few days more for the pump and all the filter material.

Can you return the test strips? Liquid tests are much more accurate.

Yes I know that but i bought them just to use when theres no time to do all the liquid tests I have.
