Hey guys I purchased my second oscar for my 150g today hes albino im a littke worried he might have sunkin belly, but also it could just be malnourished because it was in a tank with bigger oscars ill post a photo and see what you guys think.

A mix between blood worms prawns, and frozen tablets that are a chichlid mix with everything they need

Do you know if this fish is defecating? Normal healthy looking poop would tend to rule out parasites. On the other hand, if you notice any white feces, it could be parasitic. If he's healthy (he does have a healthy appetite), feed him well and the sunken belly should go away.

I agree, baby Oscars have only got little tummies and it doesn't take an awful lot to fill them up. Hopefully you should see a nice little full tummy if all is well. It could be the case that the fish store were just feeding their fish once a day, probably when they came in first thing in the morning.

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

actually, that is normal in most fish store... they feed their fish less to lessen the bioload, to avoid mortality, and less expenditure on foods. fish live longer, MORE sales for them!
