Yes, I think I will agree with you, that is an albino, and it's a very very fine specimen I must say. I'm sure you wouldn't object to us using this photo on the website? It's not very often we get decent photos like this.

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

The Arowanas just ignores him :) He is only 1/3 their size.
:D but my arowanas have torn tail and fin since they are in an arowana community.
when my arowanas are on feeding frenzy, the Oscars tumbles because of the current they produce :)

I love your albino oscar! We have a very limited variety of oscars in Australia (red tiger, lutino is about it). I have never seen one completely white. Your red aro's are so awesome too!

Your tank/pond is insane! It must be like 3600 gallons or something. So jealous! I assume you got it custom built? I love the space of ponds, but not being able to see the fish side-on like in a normal aquarium, but you have got around that. Can I ask more about the setup - what thickness glass, support structure, filtration, heating, how do you do water changes?!

Thanks!

thanks :) So far his color has not changed and his color is still flesh :)
My pond is half below ground and half elevated, the main pond is 12x8x5 feet
2.5 feet below ground and 2.5 feet above ground.
Glass panel is onl6 6 feet x 30 inches. but water level is only upto 10 - 12 inches from the top.
glass panel is tempered glass, only 1/2 inch.

filtration is 2 chambers of Eric's filter , each chamber 6 x 3 x 3 feet filled with Japanese mats and filter brush :D
