Scarruth2 created the topic: Behavior

Good evening all, well I've noticed some strange behavior out of two of my Oscars. They are hanging out in one piece of art work. They are extremely territorial (territorialness out of the norm) they take turns running off anyone else, they even went after my hand while I was vacuuming out the tank. Two things that I noticed that have changed, filter got deep cleaning, and there was a rearrangement of scenery (the two of them were not companions or territorial)

Hi there, welcome to the community. How old are your Oscars? This could be a sign that they are forming a pair, already have formed a pair, but it really depends on how old they are. How big is your aquarium? Maybe you could post some photos or video, that would be helpful. However, I shouldn't worry too much, Oscars can act very strange sometimes, it's not always easy to work out what they are doing.

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)
