Lost one of my oscars the other day
guess big red told lil tiger to put out
or get out cause it jumped outta the tank.
gonna be hard to replace, but big red looks
sad and lonely so gotta find him a friend.

sorry to hear that........but glss sliders or soms sort of tank top cover is essential when keeping oscars.....or ALL fish if it comes to that.

I had the top on it got out where the intake
and return go into the tank.
not sure how it fit. there's maybe 1" space
must have been a snug fit

i stuff a pair of womens tights/pantyhose in them holes it works great......

I cut some plexiglass to close it up
no ones gettin out now

I'm very sorry about your fish hun, maybe it was sick and took the easy way out.

Sorry you lost your Oscar that way. Sometimes things like this happen despite our best effort to care for them.

I always cut a piece of plexiglass to cover that area on all my tanks.
