I'v been watching my Oscars latlye and they seem to be Rubbing themselves against the gravel sometimes. They don't do it alot but they do it sometimes. I tried to look for ick on their skin but no white dots at all. Is it normal that they sometimes do that?

are you using the strips to test the water?
if so, i'd get rid of them mate, their useless and buy yourself a proper water testing kit.
do you not have a ammonia reading?

Your ammonia is a very important reading mate, you really do need to get a proper water testing kit, they dont cost to much these days, and can really make the difference in saving your fish.
is there any damage to his scales?
does it look like he's trying to rub something off himself?
the first thing that comes to mind is ick, but its going to be really hard to help as we dont have your correct watel levels.
