i just recently bought an oscar. but it seems to stay on the bottom of the tank. is it sick? thanks for the help. i tried to buy an oscar after reading everything in this website. very informative site. thanks for the help.

Did you test your water? If you did give us the results please, we'll need more info before we can be of any real help. Is he eating?

Now the questions. How big is your oscar? How big is your tank? Is your tank cycled? What are your water test readings? How long have you had him?

Oscars sulk and they take a while to adjust to a new home, so please post the fallowing info so we can help more. Again WELCOME!!!!

it's 3 inches, i haven't tested the water yet (im gonna do it now), and i had him for 3-4 hours..

If your readings are normal (please post anyway) I would just give im a few days to adjust!
