TOPIC: Blaze got hurt

Blaze got hurt 3 years ago #33485

The skin on his head got torn off and some is still hanging. I wonder if i should get some Melafix or maybe he will heal up good and quick if I feed him real good and fat for the next couple of days. He is still acting like his normal self. But I know he got hurt. I can see his scales underneath. What should I do.

Like I said he doesn't look sickly.

keep your water in pristine condition and watch closely for any signs of infection. if there is no infection present oscars have amazing powers of recouperation and he should heal in no time.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

my goal is simple a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all

Do you know how he got hurt Dath? The decorations? Whatever it was fix it quick, with a name like Blaze he's got to be a beauty.
If you can't beat them...arrange to have them beaten!

I think poor Blaze may have ran into something, or scraped up against something. I see no puncture wounds just a scrap. You know like how you would scrap the top layer of skin off your knee.

It doesn't seem to have affected him much. He still acts the same. But like humans I dont want this to get worse. I think im just gonna feed him good meals to keep him healthy and strong. Make sure he gets all types of good nutrients so his body can heal itself.

perhaps he is chasing something and hit something hard.
if there is no sign of gasping, staying in the bottom, or
any unusual behavior, you should not worry that much.
just keep the water always under check and it will heal
in no time.
