I was offered 2 adult white tigers, one looks perfect but the other has some black spots 5 or 6 about the size of a match head, does this indicate some disease, or do these spots happen sometimes, and mean nothing?

i haven't seen any white tigers or lutino with black spots on their
body. i am afraid it is another marketing ploy.... spot dyed. normally
they will have black along the fins and normal scale coloring marks in
their body like orange, red, and yellow but never to be black.

i have one lutino right now that show glittering silver scales in
the body which i miscue as fungi.

You may be right, but I dont think anyone inked the fish, they look like black mold and arent scatterd into any pattern, they are mainly on its head above the eyes and near the fins, but not in any even pattern, i'm starting to think its probably sick, although its not acting that way.

but you may also consider checking them. this is just my
first time to see a lutino like mine, perhaps there is really
something like that genetically. my lutino is the offspring
of my two white (but not lutino) oscars.
