Hey ya'll!

I will be leaving to go on a short vacation on the 12th and i was wondering if the babies would be ok if they werent fed for 4-5 days? and i had planned on doing a few 20% daily water changes a week before i leave. Does that sound okay?

i am going to lunch but i will be back in an hour

I can't say I've left my fish with out any food for this period of time intentionally, however I've had Oscars in the past that have not eaten for well over a week, so I should imagine they will be okay, not very happy, but I don't think they will come to any harm.

Thanks! Im guessing they are the other photos ....not the ones of the fish the fish pics suck but i felt the need to let everyone know that i love my babies and that i'm an aquaria hobbyist

We are very happy. except for the effects on the economy here. I mean all of the men in my family have been laid off of work. it sucks. my dad worked for that company for almost 35 years and they laid him off along with a 60 year old female co-worker who had cancer and was undergoing chemo treatments every two weeks. They laid off any employee who was over a certain age and had health problems ( my dad needs a $100,000 back surgery and they laid him off 2 weeks before he was supposed to go into surgery!)
but enough with the depressing stuff.

i will say this though no recession is going to stop me from taking good care of my family and my lil fishies!

dang I'm sorry, Yeah the economy here sucks too....But your right no more depression.. All we can do is keep our heads up and pray that it only gets better
