cycling a tank is a processin which bacteria colonies are established to convert the harmfull toxin that is a by product of fish waste into less harmfull ones. the process takes about 40 days to complete. attached is a link to help you understand the nitrogen cycle.

if you have any question about the process or what to do if you find yourself in a bit of a jam just ask and well do our best to help you out.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

my goal is simple a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all

cloudy is normal for uncycled tank but i am confused about smelly
water.... your oscars are at health risk.... the tank needs water
conditioner to save the fishes. better read some articles in the
home page
