Is it true that Oscars grow slower when they reach about 18cm? I also have 3 cute little Oscars and i feed them "Oscar Grow" and 2 of them seem to be growing alot faster then the other one....
What is 18 cm? Somewhere around 7 inches I would imagine. Once you ask reaches around 8 inches, the growth rate will slow down. This is normally at around one-year-old. When most people purchase of baby Oscar, they are quite alarmed at how quickly they grow. I suppose it is a good thing, at least in the wild they don't stay snack size for too long, unlike a lot of other fish
