The time has come for me to say goodbye to Bruce my albino tiger oscar. Over the past few months he has steadily declined with no real explanation of why. To the people here who have provided me with advice at diferent times, thank you.

Bruce is only 3 years old, he is now permanently blind, is loosing scales and now can't eat. He tries to, he takes a pellet in and then it just comes back out, has ben like that for over a week now.

We've tried everything suggested by people here and by a couple of local oscar people to no avail. Every now and then he'd show some improvement and then slide backwards further than before. It has been so heart breaking and I just can't keep hoping and watch it anymore.

We will be ethanising him tonight using the clove oil method and i just hope he goes peacefully. I just wish we could've had some answers as to why.

im sorry to hear that its always hard to say good bye. expecially our fish when they pass on.

Thats too bad. At least you're doing the right thing and putting him out of his misery before he suffers any further.

I dont know much about how to about ethanising a fish. how will you do it with the clove oil

sorry to hear about bruce.... it isnt easy when a pet is sick... and even harder to make the decision to let them go...

is the best for him.... it must be done. we may feel
sorry but it should stop us doing what we love to do.
the important thing is you had tried everything....

pain... yes.... it hurts losing what we love, but come
to think about it, you have been happy with him for three
years. we treasure the good memories and hope we have learn
something during his presence.

So sorry for your Bruce my he rest in peace.

I know you're heartbroken but it sounds like you gave him a good life while you had him. I'm very sorry for your loss.
