i have a 5" in one tank and a 3" and 1" in another tank . will algae chips make my tank dirty. Or cucumber,broccoli and lettuce???

I used hikari sinking algae wafers. They didnt cloud the water and my pleco loved em.

We use Alge chips in the petshop, haven't found it makes the water cloudy yet.

Spirinula tablets are great.

Thats the one. Its a type of algae i think. Very beneficial for fish though.

I don't think the lettuce or broccoli is a particularly good idea. It won't take very long for it to go very mushy in the tank. However, cucumber is something that they absolutely love. I haven't got these fish any more but when I did, I used to give them a piece of cucumber quite often and you would come down in the morning and they would have literally eaten it from the inside out, all that would be left is the skin.
