There is a possibility that there is a parasite responsible for this sliminess of the skin.

I would continue to do regular water changes, you need to keep the water in good condition as this can often be the cause of this problem.

You could try treating the fish with a white spot remedy. If this doesn't help, use an anti-parasite treatment based on formalin or an organophosphorus insecticide such as metriphonate.
