well i though i was common for the tips of the tail fin and some of the dorsal fin to be white is this fin damage?!?because the tip of his tail fin and some of the back of his dorsal fin are white i also have white gravel if this makes a difference i just want to make sure my tiger oscar is doing ok maybe i should upload a photo but for some reason my camera doees not like to take pictures of the fish i think i need to change the settings becuase i just get a bd glare off the glass and pooor quality of the picture of the fish other than that he is very healthy eating like a pig as usually and constantly begging for food and he has not saulked in a long time he use to after water changes but not anymore he is happy as can be and i think he really likes the convict cuz they just follow each other around the tank and some times circle around my driftwood like there playing a game or something...

I don't know whether it was you, but somebody else posted about the tips of their fins turning white. A photograph would be helpful. Depends on your camera, some of the older digital ones don't take pictures of moving objects very well. My old camera was not very good at it, I bought a brand new Nikon digital camera and its absolutely brilliant. Regarding their fins, if there's something wrong, it should be obvious. But he could post a photo, we could have a good luck, I'm not going to start guessing at what it could be, that would be no help to you at all.
