ok well i don't no if you remember but i got a little baby tiger Oscar about 2 months ago. well he is now bigger than my lemon Oscar the is about a month and a half younger than my lemon. ha ha. they really get along great. but recently my tiger Oscar has been randomly darting and hitting my tank cover once a night when im trying to fall asleep. and keeps trying to rip my plant out (i know its normal for Oscars to do this). im just wondering whats wrong??

oscar darting is a sign of escaping. escaping from small
environment (tank), escaping from someone poking it,
trying to shake off parasite, or trying to catchup something.
whenever oscar darted, it needs scrutiny and immediate
attention.

ok thanx this helps he has a small sing of hole in the head but not very serious at all and ive been treating him with parasite clear by jungle. also he is he is 5 inch and my lemon is about 4 and right now they are in a 40 gal but in a week or 2 im up grading to a 55 gal then from there probably a 90. but my 40gal has filtration meant for a 70 gal so the water is quality is very good so i think hes getting stressed out from the small tank but im trying my hardest to get a 55 as fast as i can but other than a slight case of hith he is a very healthy fish.

okey then... nice to know there is a plan. but i suggest
if you are planning to keep both, aim for the 90, not the 55.
55 is good for single grown up oscar.

Yeah, I don't understand the point of getting a 55 if you plan on getting a 90 anyway?

yep so i have to go with the 55 cuz thats the biggest i can fit now then when i move i can get the 90. but ya i think i found a good 55 on craigslist yesterday so ill be getting one soon.
