I have a proprly cycled tank.. 55 gallons.. and i have 1 albino oscar, and a red oscar.. they were both purchased at the same time about 4 months ago when they were both 1 to 2 inches..

Well there now the red is about 6 inches and the albino is about 5 inches long.. well my question is..
My bigger oscar( Jaws) Has a blood filled eye..
My albino( blondey) has no marks... I was wondering if this is something there suspect too?... Also Jaws has alot of HITH.. ive treated them both .. but Only Jaws has The problems.. They both are in the same tank.. the water quality is fair.." Lots of ammonia in Florida tap water"..And its hard as heck..
But in the last week .. i noticed Jaws not behaving right.. he used to be so aggressive.... would dominate the tank.. ate first .. pooped first.. etc.. but ive noticed Blondey is now the domminant one.. And jaws.. his eye was a bit bloody.. but now its full of blood.. what could have caused this? And s there any way i can eleviate it? He is pretty much blind in one eye...And no where near as aggressive as he was.. I assume it was caused from a fight between them.. But is there anything i can do to clear the blood from his eye? Or will it Naturally fix itself?

Certainly could be trauma caused by a fight. I would give it a few days and see what happens. Just test your water for ammonia, nitrite nitrate and pH just to make every everything is in order. If it doesn't get any better, you can start thinking about medication. It wouldn't hurt to put a dose of melafix in for a few days
