hi im new to keeping an oscar and just bought my new baby tiger oscar 2 months ago ,my tank is a 300 litres juwel aquarium ,my pet shop told me that i have to feed my oscars on
ciclid gold (for coloration)
ciclid excel (for healthy diet)
ciclid staple(for growth)

but have read diffrent topics and no one mentions using all these just the ciclid gold

is there any other fish i can put in with my oscar as i cant put another oscar in cant i

be glad if you could name some fish i can put in and thanks for your help

I do not feed my oscars all of those... but they do say a variety is good..

I feed mine the cichlid gold along with some other type of high protein food (frozen krill, brine shrimp, blood worms, or if they get a treet I go out to my garden and collect some night crawlers)

I feed mine different things, they get bored with the same thing all the time so I switch it up for them. You could feed them one thing for a week and just rotate as you go. Worms are always good for a special treat but be careful about giving them so many that that's all they will eat.

but one thing is very essential... no matter what
food you gave to your fishes, all of them will be
worthless if you do not have pristine water.

pristine water and varied foods will surely make your
fishes healthy

any of the hikari foods you listed in your first post ON THEIR OWN will be suitable as a base pellet for yor O,s diet ..

Try getting some dried mealworm (as fed to birds) my O's love these also cooked and peeled prawns are nice
