i noticed that my oscar is different color every once in a while. some days he is really shiny and has bright orange colors and others the black parts are green. is this good or bad?

That is normal, think of it as visual mood swings!

totaly normal ....my tiger turns almost white when hes mad and flaring his gills !!!!!!!!!

bubbles turns half white and half dark when she is mad she also has a black and white tigerstripe pattern she turns when she is really mad she turns white and lays flat on the bottom of her tank

both my red os change colour several times a day! they go very pale when they have something nice to eat! i thought they change colour when they are happy????may be not happy then.They also go pale when they appear unsure!! and go on their sides at the bottom!hope this makes sence?
