I woke up today and my O's were fighting....check out the video and tell me what you guys think?
I Know they can lip lock when there mating but i've had these 2 together for about 4 months and they have never really liked each other to much and would stay at oppisite ends of the tank, sometime there would be a bit of bullying if they crossed in to each other sides but were usally fine.
I used to have 2 black tigers that i got as babies but they started to fight at about 10months which made me think they were both males, i re-homed one and when i up graded tanks about 4 months i added the white tige hopping they would get on.
Should i seperate them?

Hey Trent, you're in big trouble. the way they are bullying each other
shows they are fighting for dominance. i can clearly see those scales
being ripped-off.... if one will never give way, they will injure
themselves trying to show who is the boss. I understand you had tried
BGH timeout net.... you can try it again hoping they will become tamer.
Good luck!

it would be hard for you to rehome any of the two.
they are both gorgeous... but bullying is also
unacceptable to watch.

i really dont know which fish to rehome? i have had the black tiger for 15 months but the white tiger has great marking.

What fish would u keep?

Should i just rehome them both and start again with babies?

BTW
the fish have been seperated with a divider in the tank for about 24hrs, they are both just chillin, not swimmimg round to much. There isnt to much damage from the fighting, just a couple of little scratches.

since you do have divider in there, you can put mirror at the
bottom and try to get a glimpse of their anal. if they have same
opening "Oo or oo, then you need to rehome one of them. if you
are lucky enough to have Oo & oo combination, then let them
finish the courting.... until the lady submit herself to him.

i have just did this peeping tom trick and found out that i am
positive to have male/female combination with Survivor and PinHole.
PinHole appears to be the male and Survivor to be a female.

Hey Paul with oo Oo what is male and what is female?

Fristeh thanks for worring but my tank is a all in one aquaone tank which means the light and filter act at the top of the tank, the fish cannot jump out however water splashed out quiet easy.....i might have to look in to getting some glass lid to go in between the light/filter and the tank cause im always cleaning water marks from the from ot the tank!

the un-even opening which is Oo connote female while the same size
opening oo means male. actually what you can see are just dimple,
leading to a hole.
