ive received my jack dempsey today and what a shock i had when i had it hes not even an inch long hes a baby i asked for a 3 inch plus the same size as my tiger oscar,anyway i put him in and everything seems fine hes hiding in the rocks but hes been out and when the oscar see him he changes colour and just swim away hope thats not a bad sign as theres no sign of aggresive at the moment cross fingers anyway

You should be glad you got a JD thats smaller than your O. I put a 4.5 inch O in with my 3 inch JD and the JD started beating the crap out of the O. I re-homed the JD into my other Oscar tank with my 6.0 inch O, and so far, so good. I hope it stays that way because my JD is beautiful, and so are my Oscars. I'll post some pics of all 3.
