What cats do you have and how big are they, could they eat your oscar. Also how cold does your pond get too. How aggressive are the cats

outdoor live in west virginia,cats r as big as Oscar they are tropical type

Yes I imagine it gets pretty cold in west Virginia in the wintertime. Oscars will require a minimum temperature of around 21 to 22°C. Even though creatures can adapt, I think just putting some into your pond will not be a good idea.

If your pond will freeze then an oscar will not survive a winter
