see what your fish store has in their freezer cabinet.I don't go too mad with the variety of food I feed my fish. I tend to stick to blood worm, various types of pellets, and kril. occasionally I give them frozen lance fish, maybe cockles and mussels, and very rarely, some beef heart. All this will be good for your little oscar, you may have to chop it up a bit.
I may not always be right, but I am always the boss

Oscars love worms (from your garden or fishing tackle shop), maggots (fishing tackle shop) and insects (garden). Defrosted prawns are a good food too
I can't get no sleep

Try bloodworms and dip your finger in them.
Move your finger around just above the water and the fun can begin!
Take care your lil'ones don't jump out of the tank.
When they jump for the food you can dip your finger in the water, they'll eat!
I did this with my O and he is allmost 1 year now and still comes over like a lil'dog to eat out of my hand, together with my spotted gar.
It's fun, you should try it!

LOL, They are all pigs... And they play our weak soft spots for food. If you feed twice a day what they can eat in only 2 minutes, that is enough! LOL, don't let their happy tails fool you!
It's NOT smart to piss off the girl with the BAN button!

X2.... if you feed them more often, the more biolaods
you will have and that is not good for your tank water.

2 times a day seems OK to me.
When they get bigger they'll cut down on the food eventually.
I fed the ciclid pallets in the morning and handfed bloodworms in the evening.
My o refused the pallets eventually and then I switched to mealworms.
Wanna see a happy O?
Get some mealworms, put some white bread in with them and store on a warm place.
The mealworms will turn into lil'black bugs.
Your O will love those.
Mine really goes wild for them!
