hey guys im setting up my 55 gal tank and was wondering if i could use pool filter sand on the bottom since its thicker and settles Quicker would this be ok?

I used pool filter sand in my tank and it works great.... just make sure you rinse it out really well before putting it in the tank...

I use pool filter sand in my 125g, I love it...best sand I've ever used. I like the way it doesn't cloud your water, very clean

yea this stuff is nice i can move it around and everything and it settles right back down
