there has been a white slim growing on my fake plants and power head this started yesterday and i cleaned them. then when i got home today at about 8 oclock its back any idea what this is and how to get rid of it????? and i keeps clogging my filter

Its not a big deal. I had it right after my tank cycled and i then added my fish and never saw it again after a couple weeks. It shouldnt do any harm to you fish and if it is the same as i had, will clear up on its own.
