TOPIC: Oscars Losing Fin

Oscars Losing Fin 2 years, 9 months ago #49215

Will This Heal
Is this Serious What is the cause

ill give as much information as possible, and will post a photo in one hour

I realized that my Oscar had its pectoral fin missing on the left and on the right one it is starting to go away,on my other Oscar there is a bite looking injury on the dorsal fin it had it when i bought it but hasn't healed yet.But i have a red Oscar which is 7 inches and fine no HITH missing fin or anything. They have not been fighting, have had them for 1 month

2 Red Tiger Oscars(5 Inches)
1 Red Oscar(7 Inches)

125 Gallon Tank
Ehiem canister Filter and Hang on filter
26C°(78.8C°)
Jebo air pump, 5 inch air stone
Clear water

Before the oscar with the injury on the dorsal fin had a hole on gill but healed when i got the canister filter(have had the canister filter for about 2 weeks)

I think they got these from a injury then it got worse because water wasn't clean before i got the canister filter,so will these heal with a bit of time, most worried about one with missing pectoral fin

Its difficult to see much wrong with your fish from that video. The stuff i could see didnt seem that bad. I wouldnt worry too much just keep you water quality good
