Well I went to petco today to get dog food and pick up some Julli Cory's for my community tank. and while browsing the fish selection, i came to the Oscar's tanks and saw these awesome guys. It took every bit of self restraint i had not to take one home! I just don't have the room. Anyone seen O's with these patterns before?

i want one soooooo bad, and i'm afraid i will never see them again. i'm about to throw all the fish from my community tank in with the O's just so i can get him!!!! (i'm kidding,...kinda)

i think they were selling them as tigers or red tigers at 15 bucks. they had other tigers at the same size for 7 bucks.
so how many different morphs are there?

they are still classified as tiger oscar.

well, one of the julli cory cats i bought there died (no big surprise, it was from petco). so i went to get it swapped out.
now they are down to only two of these oscars.
god i hope they got good homes.
i really ought to wear headphones when i'm in petco/petsmart, because i always end up butting into the conversations between ignorant ass customers and the slightly less ignorant emloyees. if i worked at one of these places, i wouldn't sell any fish because i would run the customers off because most of them can't provide proper living conditions for what they want to buy

just lately iv been seeing heaps of kool coloured oscars around the shops and that here is one i found on the net for you guys
