Hey has anybody ever seen wild caught oscars b4?? Seen then at my local fish shop and they want 100bucks each for then...?? So they must be rare I assume..... they only had 2 of them and they were very dark in colour with no orange...well stuff all orange. They were very scared of humans and showed no charactoristics of other fish shop o's iv seen.

first of all, it is hard to tell if an oscar is really
wild caught....and if it is indeed wild caught, it must be
indicated how it was caught to determine the damage on fish
body... but then there is no assurance that a wild caught
oscar could survive the tank.... so i would not gamble for it.

some people just take the opportunity to get big bucks for
a unique color/features of an oscar even it they are just
a normal cultured oscar.
