Hey,

I have had my oscar for about 2 months now. When he arrived home (family bought me him) I noticed one of his lower fin shorter than the other one, It curls. As he grows I thought it might sort it's self out. He has no problem swimming and it doesnt seem to bother him (he looks like a bloke and acts like one;moody,always hungry and messy,hehe)

Any info on this would be much appreciated.

Just aswell I work in the disability field!

Don't know about Oscarfins, but I have one Silver Dollar with a bent fin.
When I got them for my birthday one got stuck in the net with his fin, which I found strange.
That's when I noticed the strange curl.
She still has it nowadays....
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!

It may be a small deformity. As long as your oscar can swim fine i wouldnt worry about it. It may get better as your fish grows. Finger crossed
